When automation really pays off
Not every click needs to go. Where automation has the biggest leverage – and where it merely shifts complexity.
Not every click needs to disappear. Automation pays off where steps happen often, follow clear rules and really hurt when they go wrong – and where media breaks between systems cost time.
We check this against three questions: Does it happen often? Does it follow fixed rules? Does a mistake actually hurt? If all three apply, it's almost always a good candidate.
But the reverse is also true: automating a chaotic process doesn't fix it, it just makes it chaotic faster. That's why analysis always comes before the tool.
